A person I admire is a woman by the name of Sabriye Tenberken. She was born in Germany and at the age of thirteen, she became completely blind. I remember watching a documentary about her two years ago and how i was so moved by what she went through and the obstacles she overcame to be who she is today. One story i remember vividly was a time when she travelled to Tibet alone in order to help the blind. She rode alone into a Tibetan village on a horse and the villagers were amazed. Many asked her later. How did she do it? She laughed and replied, "well, the horse has eyes!" There, she started a school for the blind to educate children who were blind. She taught them to use Brialle to communicate. More signifantly, she taught the parents and everyone else that blindness was not a handicap.
From her, i learn that nothing is impossible. it is the mental boundaries and barriers that we set for ourselves that stop us from fulfilling our deepest desires.

ReplyDeleteThe person I admire a lot is Mother Teresa.I admire her a lot because I think that she is a kind hearted lady who is also very brave.
Someone told me before that Mother Teresa wouldn't save people who is dieing due to she dose not know much about medical care but when she see people who is almost dieing she will stay beside the person and make sure he or she know that someone is caring for him or her before his or her death.
I hope that I can learn from her.Especially her kind hearted heart.

The person I admire is Michel Carrick. He plays for Manchester United. I admire him because he is creative, have a vision for football and is a very good playmaker. He is one of the reasons why MANUnited is performing very well. I would wish to play like him.

The person I admire is Miley Cyrus.She is an actor is Hannah Montana.I admire her because she is cute and has good acting skills.Hopefully if I take up acting in future,I would be able to act like her.
ReplyDeleteMy hero is my bestfriend, Rafidah. She has been my closest friend since i was in Secondary 1. We were like partners in crime. We do almost everything together like twins. Although she can be irritating sometimes, i still love her just the way she is because she always stand by my side throught thick and thins.

The person i really admire is my girlfriend. Why i choose her is because she is always thinking for me no mattter what. She have always been thinking ahead for me and i think that is very caring of her. She have always been there for me no matter rain or shine, always by my side at all time assuring me that there is someone beside me i can talk to.

The person who i admire is my boyfriend. The reason why i admire him is because he never fails to put a smile on my face, always there when i need a shoulder, my istening ear and makes me happy.

The person I admire most is Joelyn. She's the bestest friend anyone can ever have. She's always there for me to give me advices and to lend me a listening ear no matter what. We have been bestfriends for 6 years and counting. Despite not being able to meet up really often despite our really busy schedule, we don't drift apart. She makes me really happy when I'm around her.

The people i adimire is somebody who is close to me. They are my parents. They brought me up since I was born. Although they often scolded me for my mistakes, I will still love them alot. I will treasure them for their kindness and love till the end of time. I hope in the future,I can support them like they did to me now.

The person I admire is Jerry Yan. He is a model, singer and an actor. He has a very good figure which makes him a model. Although he is 31 years old now, he is still very dashing. He looks charming with his dimples too.

The person i admire is William Wright.He is a computer designer and he is also the founder of the Maxis Software.His greatest success to date,came as the original designer for The Sims game series which as of 2008 is the best-selling PC game in history.I hope to design a strategic life simulation game like him.

ReplyDeleteKugan- my favourite player in Manchester United is still Ryan Giggs. He's been there for so long. Did you get the chance to watch the year when they first got the Treble? that was an exciting year. :)
Riami - I'm not very familiar with Miley Cyrus but i've heard her sing and seen her in Hannah Montana. very sweet. :)
Shahira - that's very sweet. I'm sure Rafidah's really touched. I agree with the partners in crime part- partners in chatting. :)
Hazwan & Huda - Both of you are so funny. Stay sweet and committed. Must motivate each other.
Melissa - I know what you mean. I don't see my best friend much because of work but we never drift apart. No matter what happens, i know she'd always be there for me. A friend i can call at 3am in the morning. :)
Saba - I'm sure your parents are very proud of you and they will be so touched if they are reading this. :)
Serene - haha. do you know my mother likes Jerry Yan too. When Meteor Garden came out, she was glued to the television.
Wanling - this is so interesting. i realise i'm learning something new. i did not know you were so interested in PC games. i hope you can fulfill the dream of designing such a game :)

The Person i admire is Tracy McGrady, known to the world as “T-Mac,”.He plays Basketball in the national basketball association also known as NBA for short.This year he is playing as a shooting guard for the team, Houston Rockets.I admire him for his ability to shoot from anywhere of the basketball court,His skills as a basketball player is unmatched.recently he just went for a surgery for his injured knee,needless to say the operation was a success and now he is undergoing rehab.He is also the ambassador for basketball and he knows how to use the chopsticks.Someday i want to be like him.

The person i admire is Jam Hsiao Jing Teng.He became famous after the 'One Million Stars' as he won the PK and the judges were impressed by his vocals.I admire him because i was amazed by his beautiful vocals.He is a good drummer, he can also play piano and guitar well.I hope to be as capable as him in playing piano.

The person i admire is Taylor Swift.she is a talented teen who has great vocals.I like her songs and i not only me,she is loved by millions of people all over the world.I admire her beacause most of the songs in her album were mostly written by her.If anyone got a chance to hear her music you will understand what I mean by her songs are combined with great lyrics with a catchy beat.She is the only Country female artist to have five Top 10 singles from a debut album and the only Country female vocalist this decade to reach the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart.I hope one day i could be like her writting songs that are recognized by everyone.
